trend IT UP - Contour & Glide Lipliner

Seit Neuestem gibt es in den meisten DM-Drogeriemärkten die Eigenmarke "trend IT UP". Das kleine, aber feine Display präsentiert Lippenstifte, Lippenkonturstifte, Nagellacke, Mascaras und Eyeliners. Ich bin auf das schlichte Design und die günstigen Preise sofort aufmerksam geworden. Nach etwas recherchieren, habe ich auch herausfinden können, dass "trend IT UP" keine Tierversuche macht, was natürlich ein riesiger Pluspunkt ist!

Viele die mich kennen, wissen, dass ich fast immer nur Lippenkonturenstifte als Lippenstift hernehme, da die Deckkraft und Haltbarkeit für mich besser funktioniert. 

Ich bin recht begeistert von der Qualität von diesen Lipliners. Sie sind sehr weich und gut pigmentiert. Was natürlich auch ein Pluspunkt ist, ist dass am hinteren Ende des Stiftes ein Spitzer integriert ist! Es gibt natürlich mehr Farben, aber ich habe mich für den Anfang für diese vier entschieden.

#040 - Ein zartes Rosa, was für Natürlichkeit sorgt

#060 - Ein helleres Orangerot, was perfekt für den Herbst ist

#010 - Für mich der perfekte Nude

#080 - Ein satte Himbeerfarbe, die nicht zu pink wirkt

Just recently the store brand "trend IT UP" can be found in most DM stores (drugstore chain in Europe). The small yet professional display presents lipsticks, lipliners, nail polishes, mascaras and eyeliners. The simple design and affordable prices was what caught my eyes. After researching a little bit, I also found out that "trend IT UP" is cruelty-free, which is a huge bonus!

Many that know me, know that I mostly use lipliners as lipsticks because the coverage and wearing-period work better for me.

I am quite surprised about the quality of these lipliners. They are very smooth and have good pigmentation. Another plus side is that a sharpener is integrated at the back end of the liner! Of course there are many more colors to choose from but for the beginning I decided myself for these four.

How To: Put on a Wig

Morgen fange ich bei meiner neuen Arbeitsstelle an und bevor ich keine Zeit mehr fürs Bloggen haben werde, wollte ich euch heute kurz zeigen wie man eine Perücke trägt ohne dass sie künstlich wirkt.

Tomorrow I start at my new job, so before I don't have anymore time to blog, I wanted to show you all how to wear a wig without it looking fake.

Wichtig zu wissen:

Ja, man selber merkt, dass man eine Perücke trägt, den Meisten fällt es aber nicht auf.

Ja, es kann am Anfang ungewohnt sein, wie auch mit falsche Wimpern tragen etc.

Trägt sie mit Selbstbewusstsein, als wenn es deine eigenen Haare wären.

Sie ist ein Accessoire wie Schmuck, Make Up oder Brille.

Important to know:

Yes, you will feel that you are wearing a wig but others usually don't realize.

Yes, at first it might seem odd, just like trying out false lashes etc.

Wear it with confidence, as if it were your own hair.

It is an accessory like jewelry, make up or glasses.

1. Lasst uns anfangen! Das werdet ihr brauchen:

Perücke, Haarnetzt, Kamm, Bürste und Haarklammern (in Farbe der Perücke am Besten)

Let us start! This is what you'll need:

Wig, wig cap, comb, brush and bobby pins (preferably in the color of the wig)

2. Ich habe lockige mittellange Haare. Die Haare zu verstecken funktioniert am Besten bei meiner Haarstruktur, wenn sie frisch gewaschen sind oder schon 1-2 Tag ungewaschen sind.

I have curly middle long hair. To hide the hair with my kind of texture, works best with freshly washed hair or 1-2 day unwashed hair.

3. Als nächstes, kämme deine Haare aus und bürste sie mit etwas Wasser oder Gel zurück. Anschließend dreht ihr eure Haare in ein Zopf und habt die Haarklammern bereit zum Feststecken.

 Next thing to do, comb your hair, then use your brush to slick back the hair. Use a little bit of water or gel to keep your hair in place. After doing this twirl your hair in a ponytail and keep your bobby pins at hand.

4. Nun steckt ihr eure Haare ziemlich flach am Kopf fest. Das müsste dann wie auf dem zweiten Bild ausschauen. Danach kommt das Haarnetz ins Spiel. Das Haarnetz dient dazu, dass erstens deine eigenen Haare nicht im Weg sind und zweitens als Rutschschutz für die Perücke.

 Pin down your hair as flat as possible to your scalp. It should look something like in the second picture. Afterwards it's time for the wig cap. The wig cap keeps your own hair in place and also prevents your wig from sliding around.

5. Das erste Bild zeigt das Haarnetz am Platz. Wenn man möchte, kann man es nochmal mit Haarklammern befestigen, ist aber kein Muss. Nun wird es Zeit für die Perücke! Unter der Perücke sind meistens 3-4 Klammern, u. a. sind zwei Schnüre mit Haken vorgesehen, die in den Schlaufen befestigt werden können, um die Perücke enger oder lockerer am Kopf zu machen. Nun steckt die Perücke von vorne nach hinten fest. Ich finde das so am einfachsten.

 The first picture show the wig cap in place. If you want, you can pin it down with bobby pins but that's optional. Now it's time for the wig! Under the wig there are usually 3-4 combs as well as 2 strings that have hooks to put through the loops to loosen or tighten the wig on your head. Now put on your wig from front to back. I find it easier that way.

6. Voilá! Deine Frisur ist hiermit fertig!

 And you're done! You new hairstyle is complete!

Hier noch ein paar Tipps, damit eure Perücke natürlich wirkt:

- Nimmt etwas Gesichtspuder auf einem Pinsel und streicht es über die Haare, dadurch verliert die Perücke etwas glanz.

- Die meisten "Lace Front" Perücken kommen mit einem Scheitel. Einfach mit Puder oder Concealer nachziehen, dann wirkt er wie eurer eigener Scheitel.

- Wer einen festeren Halt wünscht, kann weitere Haarklammern ranstecken.

Here are a few tips to make your wig look natural:

- Put a little bit of powder on a powder brush and go over the wig, this will make the wig lose some of its shine.

- Most lace front wigs come with a part. Use powder or concealer to go along the part to make it look like your own.

- If you wish a stronger hold, feel free to use more bobby pins to keep your wig in place.

Blah Blah Blah

Regnet es bei euch auch so? Ich glaube wir alle haben uns nach etwas Regen gesehnt. Die kühle Abwechslung tut richtig gut. Man kann wieder normal durchatmen.

Das Outfit entstand noch an einem der heißeren Tage. An diesem Tag war ich mit meiner lieben Mama zum Bummeln verabredet. Wir hatten viel Spaß gehabt, haben schicke Kleider anprobiert, haben viel gelacht und Schnäppchen ergattert!

Das Oberteil kennt ihr wahrscheinlich schon von meinem Instagram. Ich finde es einfach wunderschön mit der goldenen Aufschrift "Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah". Hierzu würde eine weiße Jeans perfekt dazu passen. Goldene Accessoires geben das Outfit ein bisschen Pepp. Für die Füßchen musste was bequemes her, daher entschied ich mich für meine schwarzglitzernde Sandalen.

It has been really hot in Germany and finally it is raining! I think everyone here has been looking forward for the pleasent cool off. One can finally breath in some fresh air. I really don't know how people do it in areas that are always blazing with heat.

I wore this outfit on one of the hotter days. That day I was hanging out with my mom for some quality mother daughter time. We went shopping, tried on fancy dresses, laughed a lot and got some great sales!

You will probably recognize this top from my instragram. I just love it especially with the gold writing. White jeans would look so perfect to this. To add some pazaaz I wore golden accessories. For my feet I needed something comfortable, having said that, I chose my black glitter sandals.

Back to the 90s

Cowabunga! Wer kennt noch die Turtles?! Ich kann mich noch vage daran erinnern, dass sie zu meiner Lieblingssendung gehörten. Und ich muss gestehen, Zeichentrickpizza sah noch nie so lecker aus *yummy*!

Dieses Outfit entstand aus purer Verzweiflung! Ihr kennt das bestimmt auch, der Kleiderschrank ist voll und trotzdem hat man nichts zum Anziehen. Ich denke, dass der Grund darin liegt, dass man sich satt gesehen hat oder einfach nicht genau das Passende zum einem Outfit hat. Mir ist nämlich dadurch aufgefallen, dass eine weiße Jeans in der Sammlung fehlt.

Zurück zum Outfit, nachdem ich mich dann beruhigt hatte, es an dem Tag ziemlich heiss war, ich kein Kleid tragen wollte und natürlich keine längeren Shorts besitze, habe ich mich für diese Kombination entschieden. Das Oberteil ist zum Glück schön leicht und locker und die Jeans habe ich dann etwas hochgekrempelt. Immerhin gibt es in den meisten Kaufhäusern Klimaanlage.

Das Tshirt hat übrigens mein Freund mir in Michigan als Geschenk gekauft. Er weiß, dass ich im Herzen noch ein 90s Kind bin.

Cowabunga! Do you guys still remember TMNT? I can vaguely recall that it belonged to one of my favorite cartoon shows. And I must say, cartoon pizza never looked that delicious before *yummy*! 

This outfit was created out of pure distress. You all probably know the feeling, your closet is full of clothes, yet you have nothing to wear. The reason for this mindset, according to my opinion, is that you've already worn it out or just don't have the right thing for the outfit. After all that I noticed that I need some white jeans.

Back to the outfit, so after I calmed down, and it being quite hot that day, me not wanting to wear a dress and not having any longer shorts, I decided for this combo. Luckliy the tshirt is light and flowy and the jeans I just cropped up a bit. Afterall most shops have air conditioning.

By the way, my boyfriend bought me this tshirt as a gift while we were in Michigan. He knows, that in my heart I am a 90s kid.

 Wie ich schon im letzten Post erwähnte, erwischt mein Freund mich in den besten Momenten!

Welcome to Cookies, Chaos & C'est la Vie UPDATED

Es ist endlich soweit! Mein Blog hat ein kleines Make Over erhalten. Einfach und übersichtlich gehalten. Es gibt mehrerer Kategorien, damit es einfacher ist bestimmte Posts zu lesen, je nachdem worin eure Interesse liegt.

Ich hatte schon vor meine alten Posts zu löschen, aber sie zeigen doch die Entwicklung von meinem Blog und es gibt immernoch ältere Posts, die gerne gelesen werden.

Da mir mein Blog ans Herz gewachsen ist und mir meine Leser wichtig sind, werde ich versuchen in Zukunft mir mehr Zeit dafür zu nehmen. Nicht unbedingt mit vielen Posts, aber dafür sorgfältiger zu arbeiten. Ich habe viele Leser in den Vereinigten Staaten und im Ausland und werde daher nun in Zukunft meine Posts auch zweisprachig präsentieren. Outfits werde ich auch so gut wie möglich mit Links präsentieren und auch Alternativen anbieten.

Nun zum Outfit! Erstmals vielen Dank an meinem lieben Freund, der fleißig und mit viel Geduld meine Outfits von nun an fotografiert und mich immer von meiner "besten" Seite zeigt.

Der Sommer ist voll im Gange und man hält es auch im Schatten kaum aus. Trotz allem entschied ich mich was Schwarzes anzuziehen, aber zumindest was luftiges. Das Outfit ist zwar typisch #wednesdayswewearblack, aber kann natürlich an jedem Wochentag getragen werden. Damit das Ganze nicht zu trist wirkt, habe ich mich für meine lila-farbige Perücke entschieden. Wenn ihr mehr über Perücken lernen wollt etc., dann gibt mir in den Kommentaren Bescheid.

It's about that time! My blog has undergone a little make over. Simple and neatly arranged. There are more tabs in the navigation bar to make specific reading easier, depending on your interest. 

I was planning on deleting my old posts, but in the end they do show the development of my blog and many older posts are still being read.

This blog has grown on me and because my readers are important to me, I will try to take more time for it in the future. This might not mean with lots of posts but to work more carefully on it. I have a lot of readers from the United States and also from around the world and thus I will be presenting posts in English as well. I will try to link all the items in my outfit posts as good as possible and will try to add alternatives.

Now to the outfit! First off many thanks to my loving boyfriend, who diligently and with a lot of patience will from now on photograph my outfits and show me from my "best" side.

Summer is running in full course here in Germany and one can barely withstand it even in the shade. Despite everything I still chose to wear black but atleast its flowly. This outfit is a typical #wednesdayswewearblack but ofcourse you can wear any day of the week. To make this outfit a little more joyful, I decided to wear my lilac colored wig.
